Certified in Danzan Restorative Therapies, (Asian medical modalities) Clinical & Rehabilitative Bodywork (ACM) and Neuro-Plastic Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) —Kimo has thousands of hours of training in western orthopedic, Asian, Ayervedic and Hawaiian medical traditions, as well substantial training in somatic trauma processing and poly-vagal theory.
Born and raised in Hawaiʻi, Kimo has been an instructor-level practitioner with the Danzan Ryu Seifukujitsu Institute as well as a Danzan Ryu Jujitsu professor and founder of the Burbank Danzan Dojo (martial arts school). Kimo's undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Texas.

Fully certified in Clinical Rehabilitative Bodywork (ACM) under nationally accredited teacher Whitney Lowe, as well as modular certifications with Til Luchau (AMT) and substantial training via Erik Dalton and (FPI). Kimo has also trained with Dr. Ben Benjamin in orthopedic massage.
Kimo has hundreds of hours of training in Asian and Hawaiian bodywork, classical Chinese medical theory, Hawaiian healing traditions as well as first responder emergency medicine through the UCLA school of emergency medicine. Kimo is an instructor level practitioner with the Danzan Ryu Seifukujitsu Institute as well as the founder of the Burbank Danzan Dojo (martial arts school).
