The Cauly Effect’s mission is to support you by holding space and utilizing Massage techniques and Reiki Healing to achieve and maintain optimal wellness. Macauly Basham is a Licensed massage therapist and Reiki Master. She is a graduate of Atlanta School of Massage. Macauly was licensed in December 2018. She began working right away for a franchise from 2019-2021. She went on to start her own practice in 2021. Macauly strives to facilitate an environment that is catered to you and your specific needs in order to achieve your wellness goals.

***ZERO TOLERANCE FOR SEXUAL ADVANCES AND SEXUAL REQUESTS.***

POLICIES:

Massage therapy is provided for stress reduction, relaxation, relief from muscular tension, and improvement of circulation and energy flow.
If a client experiences pain or discomfort during the session, the client is expected to immediately inform their therapist so that pressure/strokes can be adjusted to the clients level of comfort. The therapist is not responsible for any pain or discomfort they experience during or after the session.
The services offered are not a substitute for medical care. The therapist is not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat physical or mental illness.
The client is responsible to notify their therapist of all known medical conditions and injuries.
The client is responsible to inform their therapist of any changes in their health and medical conditions. There shall be no liability on the therapist’s part should the client forget to do so.
Massage is entirely therapeutic and non-sexual in nature. If a client makes sexual advances or requests they will be immediately terminated and no longer able to book another appointment. The client is expected to be respectful and refrain from inappropriate talk and behavior. The client may NOT touch their therapist inappropriately.
APPOINTMENTS MUST BE REQUESTED/BOOKED ONLINE.
The intake form must be filled out and the waiver must be signed prior to your scheduled service.
Appointment Reminders: We ask you to be respectful of your massage therapists time as well as other clients. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time in order to receive your full hands on time. If you arrive at your scheduled time or after, your session will end on time and you may not receive the full hands on time.
Any changes or cancellations must be arranged 12 hours before the scheduled appointment to avoid a $25 fee.
If a client is a no-show an appointment, the client will be responsible to pay 100% of the scheduled service.
Gift certificates are non-refundable.
Any product purchased is a final sale. There are no refunds or exchanges.
All children under the age of 18 are classified as minors and must have a parent/guardian signature on their intake form. All children under the age of 13 are required to have a parent present during their session. The Cauly Effect is not responsible for minors while left unattended. State regulations require a parent or guardian to be physically present in the room during the service.
Prenatal massage: Client must be 14 weeks or more (out of first trimester) to receive massage.
The Cauly Effect is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
The Cauly Effect is not liable for any accidents or injuries that may occur on the property of the business.
The prices of services are subject to change.
COLD/COVID/FLU SYMPTOMS NOTICE: Please do not schedule/come in for a Massage or Reiki experience if you are experiencing any illness. Receiving massage while having any symptoms of an illness can actually make symptoms worse. Please respect the health of your massage therapist as well as other clients and stay home when ill. Also please avoid scheduling appointments if you have any open cuts/sores or rashes.
