I had been interested in massage back in the 90's but didn't pursue it at the time. I ended up looking into the career again and enrolled in the Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage and graduated in 2012 with 750 hours schooling.  Initially, I worked part time at Marengo Luxury Spa downtown Ceveland on Saturdays.

After working 13 1/2 years in healthcare compliance at a regional hospital, I opened my own business, Strongsville Massage, working from an office with a local chiropractor, Dr. Ryan Duncan. Dr. Duncan is young,  vibrant and very tuned into his patients and helping them. His passion shows through, as each patient raves about him and his care.  I felt a connection from our first meeting, and was very excited to work with him to build both our businesses.  One of the things Dr. Duncan's patients like when they come is his office space. It's very open and inviting, as is all the staff.

I am so grateful to have found Dawn. My masseuse of many years retired, and while I was happy for her, I was anxious for me. Dawn did an amazing job at addressing everything that I mentioned, and was great at responding to my communication. When you get a massage, you can't be shy about communicating. Massage therapists are not mind readers, after all. Looking forward to monthly massages to stay feeling my best self.

I have been seeing Dawn for more than a few years for massage therapy. Dawn is knowledgeable, and extremely professional. She tailors my therapy to what I need at the moment by making suggestions of what may be helpful- as well as checks with me during my massage to make sure I am comfortable. Dawn listens to my needs and wants during treatment, making any necessary adjustments (such as pressure etc.)- which I actually rarely need to do. My husband is long standing client and is very happy with the services Dawn provides as well.

Dawn has an awesome intake document pre-appointment. I carefully outlined problem areas needing the most attention. What I expected was a deep tissue sports massage. What was received was a medium pressure relaxation massage that didn't even come close to addressing the issues that brought me to Dawn. I would not recommend this massage to anyone, with shoulder and neck tension that needs addressed.

Dawn is very sweet and tries to give you a feel for everything. The room is small, so everything feels like it's coming at your face. I wish more pressure was applied and focus would be on deep tissue and breaking down the knots than overall relaxation.

Dawn is excellent! She charges nothing extra for hot stones and towels. Very professional and talented!
