Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage but with a deep tissue massage, your therapist applies slow, firm pressure to release muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints). Education: Port Townsend School of Massage

Swedish

Swedish massage therapy is the most well-known and widely practiced type of therapeutic massage—and for good reason. This type of massage focuses on muscle relaxation, targeting superficial muscles (rather than the connective tissues targeted in deep-tissue massage) and increasing blood circulation. Full body Swedish massage includes the back, neck, legs, arms, hands, and sometimes the feet and head. Education: Port Townsend School of Massage

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point therapy is a bodywork technique that involves the application of pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body. It may also be called myofascial (myo meaning muscle, fascial meaning connective tissue) trigger point therapy. Education: American Massage Therapy Association

Pregnancy

Hormone changes and added weight and stress of pregnancy can often be physically and mentally tiring. Massage is beneficial for pregnant women through relief of tension and pressure. Education: Port Townsend School of Massage

Kinesiotaping

The Top 3 Benefits of Using RockTape Reduces Pain – RockTape is used for patients and athletes who just want to get out of pain. Improves Biomechanics – RockTape improves your biomechanics, which in turn is going to improve your performance. Activates Muscles – RockTape activates muscles. Rocktape can be used to correct postural issues, muscle fatigue, and circulation. Education: Rocktape CE

The New Synergy Stone Massage that I received from Amber was so relaxing and the best! Amber was so nice and gave one of the best massages I have ever received. I felt so relaxed by the end of the massage. Thank you Amber!

I have chronic lower back pain and have been looking for some relief for a while now. I booked a massage with Amber, and I was definitely a bit nervous to have an experience with someone I have never met before. Amber made me feel comfortable and listened to my concerns. The massage itself was otherworldly. Amber has a touch that is hard to describe. She knew exactly where I was hurting and stretched, rubbed and touched just the right ways to help relieve my pain. She spent the hour working through my adhesions and making sure that I felt better. Its 2 days later and I still have the most pain relief that I have had since my epidural when I was in labor a year ago. I cannot wait to see her again! She has a new lifelong customer!
