Rachel graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She then received her Master’s of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from the New England School of Acupuncture in 2009. She is board-certified in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM®) and licensed by the Board of Registration in Medicine. During her post-graduate studies, Rachel participated in the Global Acupuncture Project in which she treated the locals of Uganda as well as training nurses, midwives and other healthcare providers in basic acupuncture protocols. It was here that she first became inspired to create a clinic, which offered accessibility to all members of the community. Rachel’s practice of acupuncture is very gentle. Her style is eclectic, accessing many different systems with a focus on Traditional Chinese Medicine inspired by the Daoist classics, Dr. Tan-style distal treatments and trigger point therapy.
