Massage, CranioSacral Therapy, Prenatal Massage, HypnoBirthing (R) Childbirth Education, Hypnosis - All start with relaxation.
I was very, very ill. I had just had a chest tube inserted, and several other fairly barbaric procedures. My Mother came into my hospital room, and gently rubbed my back, and I immediately relaxed and felt better. Not healed, mind you, but able to feel like I could handle the pain. That was when I realized the powerful benefits of touch. That was in 1997 - by the end of 1998, I had finished my Massage Therapist training.
Now, almost 20 years later, I have added many other initials and modalities to my repertoire, but it all still comes down to this - touch and relaxation are paramount to good health, or at least a healthy outlook.
I have been practicing, and specializing in Prenatal Massage from the very beginning, but don't let that scare you away. As long as you were born, I will give you a wonderfully, relaxing massage. I teach HypnoBirthing (R) classes for parents, teaching Moms how to have a calm, gentle, relaxed, easy birth. Through Hypnosis, I help people achieve their goals, whether it be anything from childbirth and stress relief to not biting their nails.
