I began studying massage therapy because I wanted to work with people on a one to one basis to get rid of their pain or discomfort and lower their stress level. Most people just need to catch up with themselves once in a while and massage and bodywork is something I feel helps us get back to "home base". We all know what it is like when the bells and whistles go off, telling us that is time to "do something about it", it is not going to go away. So, that is why I do what I do.

Advanced Structural Integration

Lomi Lomi and Colon Cleansing
I have work experience at a natural healing cancer center in Mesa, AZ called "An Oasis of Healing" They brought me in to offer Structural Integration to their patients. This was a very rewarding time in my career. I met so many wonderful people trying to either recover from Cancer or maintain their recovery. It was truly an "eyes wide open" type of experience, working with people who have visited the idea of how delicate a time line life can be and how each day is a gift to cherish. Over the two year period of time I was involved with this organization I saw so many positive results come about for the patients who took the SI series. I also enjoyed developing a self care movement private lesson that the patients could take home with them and practice. I was very fortunate to have taken many continuing education courses from the Guild for Structural Integration while working there as that helped me learn how to address several of the concerns that people have about their alignment while they are transitioning into a healthier lifestyle.
