Divine Alignment- Change your Body about your Mind

KMI Practitioner and WTA-Core Massage Therapist

I was originally trained as a professional tennis player and always had this fascination with movement and the flow of energy. After playing on the professional tennis tour and teaching as a Head Pro at a high-level tennis club for 7 years, I embarked on getting my license in Massage Therapy in 2005. The following year, I continued taking advanced trainings/certifications to specialize in Orthopedic massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Lomi Lomi and Reiki. Next, after learning about Tom Myers and his teachings, I went to his school to further my skills in structural bodywork. I graduated from the KMI program in 2013 and experienced a profound shift in my own structural alignment and consciousness. The KMI protocol is a series of deep bodywork sessions that works progressively through the entire body; first surface, then core, then bringing the two together in integrated harmony. Essentially, the KMI process enables the body to regain the natural integrity of its form, thus enhancing postural efficiency and freedom/ease of movement. I continue to enjoy learning and exploring the body as a whole being and utilize the proper modality(s) for each client's needs. I work with athletes and clients to help unwind and correct their alignment from chronic/habitual patterns/neuromuscular pain. Whether it is from repetitive movements, injury, computer work, or postural issues, there is a solution to better balance. My work experience includes having a private practice at the Santa Barbara Yoga Center in Santa Barbara, Ca. and working with the professional tennis players at the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). I have also worked with the U.S. National Women’s Soccer team at their training camps.
