Nathania Apple is a Jill of all trades. She has worked as a web master, image consultant, lingerie model, real estate agent, ad sales executive, and retail yarn shop owner. Her current pursuits involve massage therapy and CranioSacral Therapy combined with mobility training. The mother of three daughters ranging in age from 8 to 20 years old, she is an ace multitasker, organizer, and mediator. She has a passion for learning everything from anatomy to foreign languages. Her broad education has provided her with rich and varied perspectives.  Nathania is an accomplished fiber artist, working in at least a dozen different techniques and media, including knitting, crochet, weaving, hand spinning, needlepoint, cross stitch, Hardanger embroidery and other counted thread techniques, hand appliqué, English paper piecing, hand and machine quilting, and hand and machine sewing. She also writes fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. She paints in acrylic and watercolor, surprising herself by preferring to paint abstracts. She adores ballroom dancing, particularly Argentine Tango and salsa. She is a lyric soprano and occasionally sings backup for a local jazz/pop singer, but mostly she sings in the car with her kids. She cooks well, but prefers to bake. She grew up off the grid in the woods of Northern Minnesota, and as a result, knows that she can portage a canoe for over a mile, paddle into headwinds, pitch a tent in the dark, and cook over an open fire. She finishes woodwork and is generally handy with tools. She is an active member of the Bay Area pagan community and advocates for racial equality and LGBTQ+ rights.
