Sarah’s career as a bodyworker began when she followed her intuition to The Connecting Point School in Telluride, Colorado where she completed her massage therapy diploma. She honed her craft there on both the intense athlete and artist population of the locals and the weekend warrior visitors to the high alpine hamlet. A natural next step, Sarah earned her esthetics diploma from Longs Peak Academy in Longmont, Colorado and then yoga teacher training and reiki training from Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja, Mexico. The desire for clinical continuing education brought her finally to the Bay Area where she studied Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy at National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, California. Not one to sit still for too long, Sarah is already planning the next learning mission.
Sarah’s hands offer a style that is client focused, intuitively guided and anatomically driven. She enjoys creating a strong, rhythmic massage that relaxes and repatterns. She will work with your therapeutic edge to go precise and deep with compassion or stay broad and firm for maximum relaxation. Sarah most enjoys custom tailoring her treatments to the individual with an array of modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Release, Myofascial Release, and Reiki. Sarah is blessed to integrate all her sessions with her experiences in skin care, yoga and birth doula. Sarah is honored by the vulnerability and effort put forth by her clients on their journey through healing.
When she’s not practicing bodywork, Sarah can be found walking her comically teeny dog, planning their latest adventure, geeking out on holistic health research and creating art any way she can. Occasionally, she still dreams of joining a vaudevillian circus. She is currently finishing Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in Therapeutic Yoga and her DONA International Doula Certification.
