Experience & Philosophy:
Kiyoki believes that massage and bodywork can provide so much more than simply a relaxing experience for the client: massage is beneficial to the several systems of our bodies and it aids in the re-centering of both our mental and emotional well-being. Furthermore, massage is an enjoyable natural option for pain management of all sorts. Kiyoki is mindful of every client and believes that each person and session should be respected and honored with the highest-quality experience.
Kiyoki's touch is nurturing and relaxing, yet very effective in reducing stress and tension. Her pressure ranges from light to firm, accommodating the client's preference. She is well-versed in the following: Swedish/Relaxation, Therapeutic Deep Tissue Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports and Dynamic Muscle Release, Orthopedic Therapy, Stretch Therapy, and varying applications of Cupping Therapy.
Education:
Kiyoki has been studying and practicing massage therapy since 2008. She studied at the California Holistic Institute in San Luis Obispo, CA and at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in Austin, TX.
Kiyoki is certified in Advanced Contemporary Cupping Therapy Methods from the International Cupping Therapy Association and can perform a variety of cupping services such as the following: negative pressure manual lymphatic drainage, cellulite/scar/stretch mark reduction, gentle abdominal massage, facial cupping rejuvenation, sports/orthopedic/dynamic cupping, and biomagnetic cupping.

Kiyoki is an amazing practitioner. She performed a thorough evaluation of my in-home band exercises, lymph nodes, and muscle/skeleton. As she evaluated, she provides feedback about her findings and used a combo of cupping and deep pressure joint techniques. It was wonderful!
We are working together to define an in-home regiment needed for me to restore physical strength, flexibility, and mobility in a gentle, effective way. I am grateful for Kiyoki and her staff, and excited to achieve results.
