I have been practicing massage therapy since 2014. I am certified in myofascial release and Rocktape fascial taping (level 2) and am 1 of only a couple hundred level 3 Fascial Stretch Therapists in the country. I am also certified in LifeStretch.
I received my Massage Therapy education from Oakland Community College after earning my A.A.S in exercise science from OCC as well and my B.S. in Health Studies from Siena Heights University.
I was a personal trainer, Olympic Weightlifting coach and Kettlebell Sport coach at a National level for 8 years prior to entering the massage therapy field.
I have always been fascinated with the human body, human movement and athletic performance. As I continued my exercise science career, I became more and more interested in the recovery and mobility and the impact that had on athletic performance. This is why I decided to pursue my education in massage therapy and ultimately start Vital Restoration Massage and Recovery.
For the past 5 years I have trained Kettlebell Sport full time (professionally). In this time I have become National champion 5 years in a row and have qualified and competed with Team USA for the past 3 years traveling to Russia, Germany and Ireland. I am also the current North American record holder in the 32kg snatch and the 32kg biathlon total.
I believe it is my experience, both educationally and athletically and my passion, that allows me to better relate to my clients and ultimately provide a better service.
