I have worked for many different institutions and spas, including Massage Envy, Elements, Hand and Stone, etc. where the client has come in to receive their monthly massage and brief escapes from their normal stresses. Now I wish to bring that escape to you !

Working within brick and motors, such as Massage Envy and Hand and Stone, they've given me the ability to know how to move more urgently and accurately when switching table sheets and preparing for the next client was a constant thing. Understanding different client's wants and needs to varying degrees and fulfilling their expectations by the end of the massage (50/80/100 minute services).

Anatomically understanding the body and its movements to be able to release any impingements of blood flow or muscle fibers therefore allowing better range of motion of muscles within the body as a whole. Learned neuro-muscular therapy, different trigger point positions, assisted isometric and isotonic stretches with the client, and more.

Very professional service. Extremely knowledgeable on the human body and how to apply the proper massage technique. As a sufferer of fibromyalgia, the Mixed Massage Arts approach relieved a lot of pain and stiffness on the initial visit. I was also given advice for continuing the treatment and extending the health benefits of a professional massage. I would recommend James as one of the best massage therapists you will find and plan to book with him further.

5 Star Service INDEED!! I Had a great massage with James. He was attentive, professional and personable. If it's Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, or just pure relaxation you need... James is the man for the job! After the pre-massage consultation, he provided an amazingly relaxing 2hr massage (therapeutic combo of modalities, w/ firm, medium, and light pressure where needed…paying close attention to target areas. It was one of the best massages l've ever received. James certainly takes pride in and stands behind his work. I recommend Resetting Touch Massage, of Richmond, to ANYONE!

Highly recommended! James provided the best massage I’ve had in years. James massage was relaxing and helped increase my mobility using some great stretches. He was prompt, professional and personable during our session. I’ll be booking my next massage with him soon.

This was my second massage from James. It was nothing short of amazing. The perfect amount of pressure, attention to the right areas & very professional. I’ve been looking for a masseuse to travel to me and give a great massage and he is now my go to person and I love it. He’s amazing!

Unmatched in Richmond. James is a total professional who is very skilled in massage therapy. He listens to where I believe the areas of need are, but he can detect where other focus should be. He is kind and considerate. I highly recommend Resetting Touch for all levels of massage therapy.

I just had a massage in my home. James is very good and professional but several times I needed to tell him to lighten up his pressure because it was hurting to much. He was responsive to my requests and he is pleasant to work with.
