I just like a more fluid massage where the strokes are long and carried all the way out to the end of the body. So if you are doing the back that you carry the stroke all the way down to the lower back and maybe off to the side or down toward the buttocks. If you are massaging the face that you are smooth and flowing with your movements and carry the tension or stress all the way out in some logical direction. I felt his touch was more therapeutic, like if you were helping someone with an injury, I like more of a soothing relaxing touch. I'm going for relaxation so I like more of a soothing, gentle long fluid stroke kind of massage. Probably more like a spa massage on a vacation. I basically think it just boils down to preference. Some people like deep massage, I prefer gentle massage. One is not better than the other it is just a matter of preference.
