I am on my way to becoming an expert at massage….it is said that to be an expert you need to practice something for 10,000 hours…I have well over 8,000 hours and counting. I have spent the majority of the past 8 years working with chiropractors, treating many different kinds of injury, pain, strain and dis-ease of the body. I am know by the people I work with and treat to be especially skilled in head/neck/shoulder region and also the hip/glut/low back, tho it is all connected as we know!
I successfully treat many pain complaints including:TMJ(D), Rotater Cuff, Headaches, Back Pain, SI Pain and more.
In my practice I strive to work with my clients in a therapeutic yet relaxing manner. For me this means that treatment is effective in meeting personal health goals with deeper and sometimes intense work. I balance with calming strokes that allow the body to receive and integrate the benefits of massage. I also want to ensure that you receive the most benefit and pain relief in our sessions so my work can often be very intense and produce great relief in just one visit. Every massage session is unique and dynamic because we are all individuals who continually change and grow every day.
I love being a licensed massage therapist in Portland Oregon. Originally from Oregon I spent many years traveling before I returned home to follow my dream. I became a massage therapist simply because I want to help others. When I was a child I would massage my family. It made me feel good to give my Nana a massage and see the relief it brought her. In life I feel joy when I meet someone who is glowing with positive, healthy energy. Sometimes we need a little help to get to or return to this place of balance, whether chronic stress, fatigue or other health issues are the cause. This is where I come in. My work and specialized massage therapy techniques can assist in bringing balance back to you, your body and your life.
I graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in 2011 here in Portland, OR. I specialize in Deep Tissue, Swedish and Intra-Oral work for TMJ and Trigger Point Therapy. I also use Myofascial techniques and work in an organic manner interpreting what your body is telling me.

Elizabeth worked closely with the healthcare team at Asula from March 2014 to March 2020, serving patients in their wellness needs. She assisted Chiropractors during patient visits, provided therapeutic massage to patients, maintained chart notes to document clinical work, and trained new DC's and LMT's in soft tissue and body mechanics. Elizabeth also enjoyed providing massage to local businesses during offsite wellness days. When not performing bodywork she assisted management to ensure the clinic functioned to the best of it's abilities.
