I believe that I have been blessed with the gift of touch from a very young age. It took me to be beat down to find it. Back in 2006 I was working for corporate america, next thing I know, BAM! laid off....I thought my life was over. It was my wonderful husband who suggested that I go back to school and become a Massage Therapist. Funny how things happen. Looking back now, I remember rubbing my dads feet after work at the age of 5. My 1st grade teacher had me rub her back almost everyday! Believe you me I was more than willing to do it, in fact I felt like it was an honor. That continued thru 2nd and 3rd grade. At sleepovers I always wanted to rub and play with my friends hair. One of my first jobs was a shampoo girl on the main line. Thats when I really knew I must have "something". I had 2 other colleges yet I had a HUGE line of clients waiting, insisting to have ME to shampoo their hair. Even in adulthood, I hated sitting thru those long boring sales meetings, so, I went around giving neck and shoulder massages to my workmates. To me it was always natural, and I enjoyed doing it and people seemed to enjoy me!
