Hello, I am a mother to three and Nonna to four. All of my kiddos are grown now and I get to enjoy the little ones when I have opportunity. I have one dog. He is a chihuahua, and his name is Batman. I love everything about nature and country life and I love horses. I like anything outdoors. I also like to visit the city and do things there, but I prefer to spend the majority of my time in the slower, quieter life. I am currently practicing in the Odessa, Texas area. I offer Swedish Relaxation Massages, Prenatal Massages, as well as the more therapeutic massages such as deep tissue, trigger point, TMJ and other facial and neck work, a special technique for migraine relief, as well as hand and foot massages with treatments. I can also do a full body salt glow. I will be adding a fully body mud mask and a full body herbal wrap in the near future. I also am looking into lymphatic drainage massage going forward. But, it may be a few months before I do that.

A little about my history with pain and dysfunction that led me to become a massage therapist:

I am 45 years old, and I have a long history of chronic pain and migraines. I know what it is like to hurt. I know what it is like to not be able to move very well or have very much range of motion.   I have had the migraines my whole life. I have had the migraines my whole life. I have had other chronic pain throughout my body since I was 23 years old. At the age of 23 I ruptured a disc in my neck and had to have a cervical discectomy and fusion done. I have had muscular tightness, spasms, and pain etc since that time. Today, my pain and dysfunctions are so much less than what they used to be, thanks to massage therapy. As long as I get regular massages I dont get the migraines near as much and the ones I do get are more allergy related and go away when I get away from the allergen. As a person who has had times of being fit and times of being lax, I have experienced muscle imbalance from both situations.

HEAR THIS!! Getting older does not equate to getting more stiff and not being able to move very well. That comes from not taking care of the body. That come from tight muscles. That comes from injuries where the muscles or scar tissue was never worked to get it back in prime shape. Yes, folks sometimes have arthritis, but that is usually not the actual cause of movement problems and the majority of the pain.

Regardless of the cause, muscles sometimes get tight and as a result other muscles will either be weak of will be extremely tight due to trying to accommodate the muscles on the other side of the body that are tight. When our muscle get and stay tight and shortened it begins to cause dysfunction in our body. Such dysfunction can cause a multitude of pain, numbness, tingling, and range of motion issues etc. Most people do not know that migraines can be caused by tight muscles...and not only the ones in the head.

Most people don't know that that elbow pain is likely not coming from the joint but from the muscles above the joint...and the same with the knee and ankles etc. Some walking problems are simply a muscle issue. Some low back pain may not be coming from the back or muscles in the back at all. The reason you can't take a deep breath might be simply from a tight muscle. That tooth ache or headache might actually be from clenching your jaw or grinding your teeth ,etc. The reason you cant lift your leg to get into your vehicle, might just be tight muscles. The reason you cant raise your arm without severe pain might just be tight muscles. Not everything with the shoulder is the rotator cuff. And not every dysfunction is something that requires surgery to fix. Please try massage first. There are many things that can be out of balance muscularly that can cause so many other problems in the body and even in the mind. Tight muscles can not only cause pain, but also can restrict blood flow and nerve transmission as well as cause higher blood pressure etc etc etc. I recommend regular massage for everyone. You will be surprised how very much it helps you to live the abundant life that you were meant to live. Live a fuller life. Let's get you to the point that you have better mobility and range of motion. Let's help you get to the point that you aren't completely stressed out in life. I may not be able to fix all of your problems, but we can certainly work together to at least make them better and help you get around better and have less issues in your body and hopefully live a better life....one free from pain and dysfunction...at least as much of it as we can get rid of anyways.
