I chose this place based on its many positive reviews and booked a 90-minute deep tissue massage, as I require significant pressure. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Despite politely requesting more pressure multiple times, it didn’t noticeably change. I understand not all therapists can provide the level of pressure some clients need, but it left me wondering—should the therapist acknowledge this and offer an alternative, or does the client just endure the session?
I stayed for the full massage, feeling awkward but remaining polite. Afterward, the therapist offered water but didn’t ask how it went, which I understood. The massage was $130, and she applied a 10% discount I requested. I tipped $10 to reflect my experience.
I later learned she was the owner, making the situation more uncomfortable. She suggested I try a different therapist if I return, though I hoped for a small discount as an incentive. While this session didn’t meet my expectations, I appreciate the business and may give it another try. I just wanted to share my honest experience.
