Raji is a certified yoga instructor trained in Integral Yoga Hatha which incorporates asana, meditation, pranayama, mudra, mantra, and deep relaxation. Using each of these techniques in her meditative all levels class she helps to focus on removing barriers and connecting on a more meaningful level. Raji has been using the hula hoop as a flow art and moving meditation practice for over 4 years and is available for individual and group instruction. As Registered Nurse for over 16 years holding a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education and as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in community health, Raji has extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, health and wellness, and disease management and prevention that adds depth and practical application to the practice of yoga and meditation. She has also been practicing mindfulness and uses this experience to enhance her meditation skills and instruction. Raji believes in a holistic approach to health and wellness that joins physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual aspects of health. Currently Raji is working on becoming a certified health/life coach and mindfulness based stress reduction coach and teacher.
