I graduated from St Croix Center for the Healing Arts located in Hudson, WI in June, 2006 with 708 hours of education.  I started school October 2004 taking evening classes while teaching pre-school in the mornings. After graduating I rented a room at SCCHA until I opened Annette's Therapeutic Massage located at Key Chiropractic in North St Paul, MN the end of September 2006.   I work along side Dr John Schneider of Key Chiropractic where you can get spinal manipulations before or after...

I graduated from St Croix Center for the Healing Arts located in Hudson, WI in June, 2006 with 708 hours of education.  I started school October 2004 taking evening classes while teaching pre-school in the mornings. After graduating I rented a room at SCCHA until I opened Annette's Therapeutic Massage located at Key Chiropractic in North St Paul, MN the end of September 2006.   I work along side Dr John Schneider of Key Chiropractic where you can get spinal manipulations before or after your massage session.   

 

I offer a combination of the following techniques: Swedish, deep tissue, myofacial, sports, acupressure, trigger point, pregnancy, Thai on the Table, hot stone therapy and energy work.  I also offer aromatherapy, reflexology, and cupping.  

 

            I am continuing my education to better serve my clients.   I have completed a Geriatrics Massage course, Pathology class (the study of disease), The Integral Anatomy Series by Gil Hedley, I have taken advanced training courses in hip joint mobilization, advanced ankle & foot release, head neck & jaw release.

January 2015 I became a internationally recognized certified yoga instructor through the Sivanada Yoga Teacher Training Course in Nassau.  Through this month long intensive training program I was fully immersed in yoga life studying the teaching of Swami Sivananda living on an ashram.  Learn more at http://www.sivanandabahamas.org/ 


November 2015 I completed John Barnes' Myofacial Mobilization course & continue to study myofacial release techniques and Structural Integration through webinars and interning under Sandy Henningsgaard, certified Rolfer.

Before becoming a massage therapist I attended Mankato State University, MN for elementary education.  I was the full time toddler teacher at Townview Montessori in until I decided to pursue my career in massage.  Over the next few years I continued to teach as a part time pre-school teacher until I had to hang up my teacher hat to focus fully on my massage business in 2013.
