My name is Amanda. I spent many years traveling. Learning a new way of living. Diving deep into healing and wellness for self. I came into massage for my own healing, experiencing profound transformation as a result of receiving body work and became hungry to learn more and share the power of massage with others. In my travels, I learned to refined my general interest in wellness, and pursued a new way to help others heal. As a graduate of The Institute Of Sanative Arts I studied the anatomy of the body & mind for massage therapy. I am interested in, cultivating health, peace, bliss through massage bodywork by offering Therapeutic bodywork and relaxation/Swedish massage. My intention is to use my practice to help my clients deep peace, energy and full body relaxation. Massage is a way we can release all the things that are not truly us - the stress and trauma of our lives get stuck in our tissues. When we release these things there is an experience of 'coming home' to the body. When we feel at home in our bodies we experience greater ease, joy and open connection to others.I create body work that is centered around listening with my hands. I invite my clients to participate their experience of receiving by using breath and intention to encourage their body to unwind and release deeply held stress & tension & to also just to welcome you to be in a safe space, to just be in the moment.
