Hi...My name is Carolyn Bailey, LMT...I cannot tell you how exiting it is to finally realize my lifelong dream and passion of becoming a Massage Therapist at the young age of 49. After spending...or rather spinning my wheels in a career that left me with no feeling of satisfaction and never really being able to actually help others, I took a tremendous leap of faith and dove right in. Almost 1 year ago I let go of my 30 year career in the Medical Administration world and enrolled in Massage School and I have not looked back. I gave it my all and graduated with a 92 average in September 2014.


I decided to open my own practice and I am currently the only therapist, which is great. I love working with each individual client and developing a plan of care that is tailored to their needs. 

You may be a little curious about the name "Rock N Rose Massage & Bodywork".  It's actually based upon the Rose of Sharon or "Rock Rose", and the essential oil that comes from the plant...as soon as I heard this I knew that it was my name! Once again, there has been no looking back!

At ASM, I learned a variety of techniques and modalities, from basic swedish massage, Hot Stone, Prenatal, Myofascial release, Neuromuscular, Trigger Point, Aromatherapy, and more! I took all of my classes very seriously as I personally have experienced how amazing the benefits of touch & massage therapy can treat the whole body and bring it back to a state of balance. My total average throughout my six months of initial training was a 92!
