My name is Katie Wilson. I am a wife, mother and born nurturer.
I have a passion for health and wellness, and aim to positively influence the lives of my clients through massage.
I received my massage therapy license in 2007 after graduating from Charleston School of Massage and Healing Arts. I also have a B.A. in Comparative Religious Studies from the College of Charleston (2006) and a B.S. in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina (2011).
From 2007 to 2009, I worked as a massage therapist in a yoga studio. During this time, I made meaningful connections with my clients while growing my business, became certified in pregnancy massage and started practicing yoga.
From 2010-2011, I attended nursing school while continuing to provide massage therapy to family, colleagues and friends. During this time, I gained further knowledge in health and medicine, planted my roots in Charleston, and married my love.
From 2011-2015, I worked simultaneously as a nurse and a massage therapist at a local pain management clinic. During this time, I provided care to patients experiencing chronic pain and inflammation, rediscovered my passion for wellness and preventive medicine, and welcomed my first child into the world.
My goal as a massage therapist, and a nurse, is to help provide treatment and support in a nurturing environment that promotes and inspires a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
