Lauren Van Riper, Owner of Sage Massage and Bodywork, has been licensed for 20 years in the field of massage and bodywork. She specializes in reflexology, medical massage, Thai massage, deep tissue therapies and prenatal massage. Lauren received her national certification and license first in the state of Florida and moved to North Carolina in 2008. She is a graduate of the Florida College of Natural Health (2004). 

Lauren's intuition combined with her passion for healing and pain relief have made her an integral part of her clients' rehab protocols. Her knowledge of anatomy and neuromuscular massage training have been said to be unparalleled. She is diligent in providing her client's with the best care to address their musculoskeletal needs.

Recently, she has been training in the field of Thai massage, and has brought this ancient modality into her practice to expand upon the fascial release her clients have come to rely upon for their wellness journey. Lauren traveled abroad to Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2020, and studied at The International School of Massage. 

Lauren is the mother of a 12 year old son and a 2 year old son who receive massage daily. She is an avid runner, and completed her last half marathon at Walt Disney World.
