With 5 years of experience in bodywork Carly has developed a strong passion and skill set towards facilitating serious change in the human body. Her journey began at the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in St. Petersburg, Florida where she received her license to practice in 2015. Shortly into the dawn of her career she decided to make a move out to Missoula, Montana and has been practicing here since 2016. Carly has worked in spa settings/chiropractic offices, and is now venturing off on her own to build a practice she truly believes in. What she feels sets her apart from many other therapists is her knowledge, training, and hands on experience in working with the bodies fascial system to treat pain and restrictions. “Fascia has 6x more sensory nerve endings in it than muscle does and the vast majority of massage techniques simply ignore the dysfunctional fascia and rub over it blindly rather than breaking through it’s layers to access and free up deeper muscle fibers. Specializing in Myofascial Release has been my greatest strength as a massage therapist and I am aiming to enhance as many people’s quality of life through body work as I can. I chose the name Move Free MT because so many of us are living with daily pains or restrictions and I’m here to show you that you do not have to. The intention behind my work is both therapeutic and nurturing, I care about your wellbeing as much as you do, if not more. The sooner you start the process of recovery, the easier your journey will be. I look forward to beginning that journey with you. See you soon.” - Carly.
