Dina Goodwill grew up in central Maine where her love for plants began. She obtained her BS in Botany from UMASS-Amherst and pursued a Masters Degree in Biology at Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA. She has studied plants both in the field and laboratory including such disciplines as plant ecology, evolutionary biology, plant physiology, biochemistry, and toxicology. As her knowledge of holistic medicine grew, she naturally turned towards herbal healing. Dina has a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine from the Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Dina specializes in integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine Diagnostics and Dietary Therapy with Western Herbalism and Phytotherapy. Through acupuncture, deep relaxation allows the body to communicate with itself and reach harmony. Maintaining this balance is the goal and can be reached through the use of herbs, nutritional supplements, exercises, diet and lifestyle changes, etc. all tailored to fit individual needs. Dina has been in practice since 1998.  To make an appointment with Dina or for information regarding acupuncture or the herbal pharmacy, you may email her at dina@medicinetreeherbs.com or call (612) 720-1184.
