I earned a B.S. in Biology from Hillsdale College then a Masters in Physical Therapy from Emory University and recently finished the Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Montana. I rotated through all the specialties of physical therapy at U of M Hospital my first 5 years of practice then branched out into private practice at Lehman and Kamenec Physical Therapy and PT of Birmingham. Next I taught physical therapy and introductory Biology courses at the college level. After a break from work to focus on family, raising children, and pursuing a Naturopathic Doctorate, Trailside Harvest Health was born in 2011 to address conditions that had not resolved in standard care such as chronic fatigue, lyme, muscle imbalances and fibromyalgia. I see patients for hour long sessions beginning with detailed evaluations and working to improve range of motion, strength, balance and symmetry so that greater pain-free ease of motion can be achieved. Physical therapy, myofascial release, craniosacral, and muscle energy techniques are utilized to achieve patient goals.
