As a young lady, in my early 20's I was a free spirit and very loving, sharing kind of lady. I loved having fun and I would enjoy giving massages to my friends. They mentioned how much they enjoyed it so, I decided to explore that and went to school for it. That was the beginning of a journey I had no idea where it was going to take me. I absolutely do not regret taking those first steps, I learned how important my hands are and how much they are healing to others. I mean, they don't actually heal, they just really make others feel really good and in a sense, they could eventually lead to healing, I believe. I believe that a touch does do so much, that's why when raising children it is important to hug and kiss them to let them know they are loved. Well, as adults we still need that attention and effleurage would be a great massage to receive for attention to the body.
