A Colorado native, raised mainly in Longmont, Hollie graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2008. Hollie became interested in massage when she was in high school as the manager of her school’s varsity volleyball team, working on her team’s shoulders, backs, necks, and arms during practices and timeouts at games. The girls on the team told her that her miniature massages helped greatly and improved their abilities to do well, and in senior year, they made it to the State Championships. The work she began for classmates in high school was only the beginning of what she has been able to do in the past five years for clients who have suffered from chronic pain due to stress and job conditions, as well as fibromyalgia, Crohn's disease, and other ailments. She is grateful every day for the opportunity to really focus on specific clients needs and give them the individualized attention and work they need in a quiet, relaxing and comfortable space at Blue Skies Massage & Wellness.
