I was born with a gift for helping others feel better. It has always been my calling in life. Seeing others in pain hurts my heart, so I found a profession where I could ease pain on a daily basis.
When I arrived at the Center for Massage back in 2008, I knew immediately that I was in the right place. I eagerly soaked up the information that their instructors had to give me. I was present for each moment, every day, and I graduated at the top of my class.
Since then, I take more classes every opportunity that I can. I am constantly striving to know more, learn more techniques, understand more about the body. The human body is a fascinating creature!
Then, in 2017 I was asked to teach advanced massage at Southwestern Community College in Sylva, NC. There is nothing like teaching to help you learn. You really have to know your stuff to be able to teach it! I was honored to accept this position as an adjunct instructor, and doubly honored to watch my students become incredible therapists in their own right.
