I received a B.A. in Dance from Washington University in St. Louis in 1997. An injury while in school led me to receive bodywork for the first time, and after experiencing it's profound benefits, I decided to pursue a career in massage. I attended Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Boulder, Colorado in 1998, where I learned a wide variety of modalities including Shiatsu, Swedish Massage, Injury Rehab for Dancers and Athletes, Treatment for Repetitive Use Injuries, Whiplash Treatment, Reflexology, and Hot Stone Massage. The birth of my 2 children led to my interest in Prenatal, Postpartum, and Infant Massage. My ever deepening practice and study of Yoga led me to Thai Massage and Ayurvedic Massage. While I love to offer the gift of massage to women, my greatest joy and passion continues to be dance. I share it's healing potential to the body, mind, and spirit in my classes: Planet Motion World Dance Fitness, Hoop Dance, and Modern Dance.
