Hello and thank you for
wanting to learn more about my services and the work I do!
I first became attracted to alternative therapies when I started receiving Shiatsu sessions when I was in my early teens, these sessions were life changing for me. I was curious about other similar therapies so I enrolled in a Massage Therapy Program at a local college.
I attended WITC in Ashland WI Massage Therapy Program and graduated with honors in 2011. Right after graduation, I moved to Superior WI and went to work at Eagles Nest Massage Therapy in Duluth MN for 3 years while attending college in Superior. In 2013, I graduated WITC Superior with honors with an Associate’s Degree in Business Management. Over the course of those 3 years (2011-2013), I attended continuing education classes and became certified in Levels I, II and IV in Dynamic Body Balancing. I also attended a class in "The Craniosacral Approach to Dissipating Trauma, Reducing Stress and Rebalancing the Body", both in this class and Dynamic Body Balancing courses; I discovered my love and fascination for Craniosacral Therapy. In 2015, I attended an Introduction to Myofascial Release class with a John Barns instructor and in 2016 completed Craniosacral Therapy Level I with Upledger Institute . So lots to work with and yet to learn.
I work with a variety of styles and techniques, and although I do deep work, it is on a different level compared to the deep tissue expectation. I do specific Craniosacral sessions and also incorporate it into every massage I do as well. I see clients for regular relaxation sessions as well as chronic issues and results driven work. I have experience and am comfortable working with every age range, from infants to elderly and every level of health and ability.
My other interests include camping, harvesting edible wild plants, gardening, traveling, trail running and absolutely anything horses! Specifically natural hoof trimming and natural horsemanship with my two mares.
Thank you for reading and I hope to meet you someday in the near future!
