Yoga came into my life as an experiment to help with postpartum depression in 1999. After that first experience in savasana, yoga became an incredibly powerful tool in my healing journey.

Yoga remained a consistent practice and I became YogaFit certified in 2001. When my two sons were older, I enrolled in a life and practice-altering Yoga Training with my teacher, Terry Brown. at the Triad Yoga Institute. Receiving my 200-hour certification in 2010 only ignited my desire to learn more and continue with my 500-hour certification. Over the last 12 years, I have gained so much knowledge from other teachers: Elise Browning-Miller, Nicolai Bachman, Aadil Palkhivala, Julie Gudmestad, Bo Forbes and the late Bryan Legere.

My yoga sessions focus on safe alignment and bringing a balance to the body and mind of strength and flexibility. Students appreciate how I make concepts easy to grasp and adapt into their daily lives.

In 2012, I began receiving massage. I’m not sure how it happened, but within a few months, I began to connect with my body during massage sessions and love it in a way I never had before. This connection and love helped me overcome my secret struggle with body dysmorphia and bulimia. In 2018, I became a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist and have loved being able to provide this service to my clients.

Then came Health Coaching…I’ve noticed that not only in my life, but in my clients’, implementing habit change can be difficult. It seems we all have an idea of what we want to improve yet lack the help or accountability to see it through. In May 2022, I became a Certified Health and Wellness Coach and am so thrilled to offer this service to my clients! Whether in person or virtually, I can connect with clients and help empower them to set and achieve their goals. It’s exciting to witness clients have those “aha” moments and it’s an honor to be a part of the change process with them.

My childhood was spent in Michigan. Since 1993, Kernersville, NC has been my home. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and family, cuddling with my two fur babies, running, studying and practicing yoga and cooking and baking all sorts of recipes. I also enjoy listening to podcasts and reading books about health and wellness.

Life is meant to be lived with love, joy, compassion for self and others, and the ability to adapt when things don't always go as planned.

Thank you for stopping by and may I leave you with the words of Wim Hof, "Wishing you a good day, or a good night, and a good life. All the love; All the power."
