Rebecca Staffend has been providing therapeutic massage services in various settings since 1997. She has engaged with the body as both creative force and inner teacher throughout her childhood classical dance experience, lifelong music and theatrical work on and off the stage, natural childbearing year advocacy, and reproductive justice endeavors. Ms. Staffend has served as Community Chair of the Kalamazoo Breastfeeding Coalition - (kzoobfcoalition.org, contributor to the Cradle Kalamazoo Steering Committee, and the Southwest Michigan Perinatal Quality Improvement Collaborative), as Communications Chair of the King-Westwood Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (kwpto.org), and in the Truth Racial Healing and Transformation work through the Kalamazoo Community Foundation. Touching Health brings together her clinical experience with Swedish disciplines, deep tissue and myofascial release, Reiki, Sacred Lomi, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, and trigger point therapies.
