Personal Bio:
Key is a nickname given by clients, friends and family after discovering her ability to educate and help others to obtain optimal health. I understand the importance of educating individuals, communities and organizations in stress management, health and wellness. Growing up I was exposed to being a leader and became disciplined in helping others be the best they can be through the exemplary actions of her parents. The CEO/Founder/Wellness Director at Rejuvenate Wellness, LLC (formerly known as DBA REJUVENATE) has passion and responsibilities in learning, training and educating others in stress management, holistic health, fitness and nutrition. The vision is to provide the knowledge needed to live a more harmonious life.
Over the last few years I have managed a growing business, instructed classes in relaxation, aerobics, water aerobics, physical fitness, holistic health and massage therapy. She has also managed to obtain a Masters of Science in Sports Medicine Summer 2015 and a second Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership obtained Spring 2016. I also hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER), Major in Exercise Science, Minor in Business Management from Western Michigan University, a National Certification in Bodywork and Massage Therapy and a certificate in Chi Gong. I am focused in a professional shift towards writing wellness programs and facilitating workshops to individuals, small groups, communities and organizations.
Having had opportunities and experiences that set me aside from others within this field. In 2010, while in Georgia I had the opportunity to work at elite hotels/spas (W Hotel; Bliss Spa and St. Regis; Remede Spa) with elite clientele where she was able to advance in customer service, spa treatments and practice loyalty in order to obtain repeat clientele. Summer (2014) I studied abroad in Beijing, China at the Beijing Sports University (BSU) where the 2008 Olympic teams trained. Giving presentations at the high school and college on Exercise Physiology-Sports Medicine, Chi Gong and Holistic Health while also learning the eastern culture on her visit. Currently I train and develops staff at Rejuvenate Wellness, LLC in order to provide consistency in services rendered in both eastern (holistic) and western (sports) medicine.
Individualized sessions and workshops may include but not limited to eastern (holistic) medicine through: meditative breathing, guided imagery, massage therapy, stress management and behavioral modification, art, movement, humor/laughter and mindfulness. Sessions may also include western (sports) medicine, developing exercise prescriptions and fitness regimens, deep stretching and meal planning. My journey as well as accomplishments has taken the realm of health and wellness to a whole new level.
