I attended Aisen Shiatsu School in 2005 earning my license as a massage therapist. I gradually built up my massage clientele via word of mouth and was performing massage therapy in addition to my full time job for many years. Three years ago I made a decision to devote myself fully to the practice of massage therapy. In 2012 I began studying and working at Total Body Care Inc, where they specialize in sports massage and acupuncture. I practiced there for nearly 3 years and during that time gained a better understanding of muscle anatomy, as well as learning techniques for locating problem muscles that are causing pain and limited mobility. In 2015 I joined Myoscrip, a clinic that specializes in medical massage for auto accident and workman's compensation cases.
My goal is to continually improve my techniques and approach by listening to my clients. I always ask for feedback to ensure I'm working on the right spots, with the right pressure. As my mentor told me, "Your client is your biggest teacher."
