"Be kind, everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."

Since I was a child, I wanted to help people. As a youth, I thought I wanted to be a doctor or physical therapist . . . someone who worked to ease the suffering of others. Since I was a child, I wanted to help people. As a youth, I thought I wanted to be a doctor or physical therapist . . . someone who worked to ease the suffering of others. After excelling in high school and being admitted to a University, I chose, instead, to marry and have a family. While my focus was on my family and raising my children,  I never lost my desire to be of assistance to the world. Many opportunities presented themselves during these early years. I worked in the nutritional industry and, as a result of watching people recover from various illnesses by changing their diet, became dedicated to learning more deeply about the body and how it works. I was especially curious to understand what caused disease and how to reverse it. I pursued more knowledge and completed my herbal education as a Master Herbalist through the School of Natural Healing in Springville, Utah. In addition to these various pursuits, I still found time to help a family member manage a remodeling business as well as earning a Second-Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo!

As I learned more about the physical body, I became passionate about deepening my understanding of even more subtle layers. I worked on developing my sensitivity for and understanding of the human energetic system.  Being a rather Left-brained individual for much of my life, I have worked diligently to develop the more intuitive aspects of mind and will continue to do so through my life.

For several years, I maintained the vision of attending Massage Therapy School, even visiting the school of my choice on three separate occasions over a seven year span! Finally, the timing was right and this dream was realized when I attended East-West College of the Healing Arts. I completed the 801 hour program and learned a lot about massage, the human body and also about myself. It was a profound and life-changing experience. In fact, I loved going to school so much, I enrolled in an extra class after completing my program, just to more fully develop my skills in the more subtle practices of Myofascial and Cranial Sacral work. I currently specialize in Deep Tissue Massage, and Therapeutic Bodywork.  I am also deeply influenced by my training in Thai  Massage, Myofascial Release and subtle energy work including Reiki.

My touch is slow and contemplative, working intuitively to release restrictions and relax the body. I believe that healing must be looked at holistically and that it is necessary to work with the body and not against it.

I look forward to working with you towards your wellness goals. I believe in the inherent ability for each individual to heal themselves and look forward to helping empower you as you pursue your own path towards wholeness.

She's really good when she's focused. Shares the office with a chiro clinic, so not as quiet/relaxing as it could be all the time (get morning appointments when the others aren't there yet!).

Ann-Marie is amazing and always flexible too adjust to your needs. My muscles are always very tight and I'm recovering from both of my shoulders being injured, and it's been fantastic having more flexibility after she MAKES my muscles let go! It may hurt, but it's a good hurt, and totally worth it.

Ann-Marie is AMAZING! She knows exactly where to place pressure, rub and stretch to achieve the results needed. One of the best one-hour therapeutic massages I have ever received.
