Many years prior to becoming a Massage Therapist, I dreamed of the opportunity to obtain my license and open a practice. As a person who has not had fantastic experiences with Western medicine, I sought alternative treatments and found Massage Therapy to be extremely beneficial. My mother died at a very young age and as a teen, I spent weekends with her and the five other hospital mates in her room. I learned then about how much everyone can benefit from a healing touch and listening ear.
I believe in treating the whole person, and Massage Therapy plays an important role in wellness.
I discovered when I received massage therapy regularly, it helped empower me to more effectively balance my emotions, strengthened my ability in areas such as decision making and overall had a more joyful spirit, no matter what may be going on in my life.
My philosophy as it pertains to providing Massage Therapy and CranioSacral Energy work is to chart a course of treatment that maximizes the benefits to my clients on an individual basis. What treatment may be most beneficial for one client, may not work for another. I pride myself in getting to know my clients by having both a pre-treatment and post-treatment conversation. The most important part of my services is really listening to my clients needs and their desired goals for treatment.
