 April Straight has been a licensed massage therapist with the Mississippi State Board of Massage Therapy for over 20years and a Certified Massage Instructor with the state for 18yrs. She’s taught at Healing Touch School of Massage in Hattiesburg and at Blue Cliff College in Gulfport.

 April Straight has been a licensed massage therapist with the Mississippi State Board of Massage Therapy for over 20years and a Certified Massage Instructor with the state for 18yrs. She’s taught at Healing Touch School of Massage in Hattiesburg and at Blue Cliff College in Gulfport.
She was a 2-sport college athlete (basketball and softball) at Meridian Community college and University of Mobile, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. She also played professional women’s tackle football with Gulf Coast Monarchy in the WFA league for the 2021 season, and she enjoys Bodybuilding.
April loves to work with athletes of all ages and from all walks of life. She’s been the Sports Massage therapist for numerous college athletes and has also had the pleasure to work with professional athletes in the NFL, NHL, MLB, WNBA, WFA, and Olympic medalists.
April uses a variety of massage and stretch techniques to help her clients prevent and/or rehab mild to moderate strains and sprains and to help them return to their active lifestyle.

I've worked at Hardin Sports Medicine and Performance for 8 years and during those years I have treated athletes from all walks of life, from middle school aged athletes to professional and Olympic athletes. Being a former athlete myself, along with earning a BS degree in Athletic Training allows me to empathize with my athletes and understand the soreness from acute and overuse injuries. In addition to receiving a degree in Athletic Training; I've also completed certifications in Active Release Technique (ART) and Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab (FAKTR)

April is very good.At what she does she really worked very hard on my neck?Which has been a problem for several months. She's very knowledgeable very professional and I feel Very comfortable.
