Monica is a 1993 graduate of Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. She co-owned and operated Mystic Therapeutic Massage for 21 years before moving to Everything Zen. Monica is also a 1986 graduate of Salve Regina with a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. She was a police officer for 7 years before becoming a massage therapist. She offers sports/deep tissue massage, general relaxation, and lymph drainage. She also offers Holistic Health Counseling using her many years of education, self study, and fitness achievements to coach and mentor people to reach their fitness and health goals.

I'm fairly new to therapeutic massages - Monica did a fantastic job of asking questions to determine how to customize my session, she explained what to expect during and after, and she provided a very professional and skillful massage. I walked away very refreshed and with the kinks worked out of my neck and back. I only wish that I had scheduled a full hour with her instead of just 30 minutes. I highly recommend Monica and will likely schedule an appointment with her again the next time that I am in town.
