Jenna is an experienced Massage Therapist specializing in Therapeutic Deep Tissue Massage. What is a Deep Tissue Massage?
Deep tissue massage is best for giving attention to certain painful, stiff ‘trouble spots’ in your body. The massage therapist uses slow, deliberate strokes that focus pressure on layers of muscles, tendons, or other tissues deep under your skin. Though less rhythmic than other types of massage, deep tissue massage can be quite therapeutic -- relieving chronic patterns of tension and helping with muscle injuries.
I attended Lakeside School of Massage Therapy in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Lakeside is the oldest Massage Therapy school in Wisconsin, founded in 1985, and a leader in the field of Massage Therapy. At Lakeside, I was given an excellent foundation with which to build a massage practice.
Since graduation I have continued my education by attending workshops such as Gaia's Touch Hot Stone Massage. I studied Thai Yoga Massage in 2013 through Thai Bodywork School of Thai Massage. I have the good fortune of studying with Osteopath, Massage Therapist, Berry Method, and Rolfer Ron Murray. Ron teaches a unique blend of the modalities he has studied.
