In 1997 I was working in an acupuncture clinic as an assistant and went to California on a bicycle trip with some friends. As it so happened, I injured my leg trying to conquer a steep incline. I met the therapist and he asked me if he could take a look at my leg at no charge, so of course I let him. No kidding, I was back to riding the next day!! I couldn't believe it! So, I decided if that's what massage can do I wanted to learn it so that I could provide that kind of help to people.
I graduated massage school in the Spring of 1998 and have been practicing ever since. I've focused on a neuromuscular therapy type of massage called Touch For Health and have used it successfully for more than 20 years. I'm also able to perform the standard Swedish and deep tissue techniques which most therapists can do. However, my favorite cases are the ones that need solving of the puzzle!
If you need help with this, or if you just need help to manage stress, or if you just want maintenance body work, I would like to make myself available to you.
