Feel the fear, do it anyway. This isn't about being afraid to jump off the roof; it's about being afraid to fail or succeed, afraid to love to move on, or afraid to take whatever chance that comes along. I took a chance when I changed my career path from medical assisting to massage therapy. I can't imagine doing anything else now! I've always wanted to help people and was very fulfilled for a long time doing medical assisting, home health care, and working in a hospital. The joy I get from being able to see a patient walk out of their massage being able to move in a way that was painful before, feeling relaxed and sleepy, and saying something like "I can handle my day now" is immeasurable.
