Melissa’s journey into medical massage began with a serious back injury that required surgery. Once she found out the benefits of massage therapy, she wanted everyone to experience the relief she found through massage. Melissa continues to build upon her knowledge base by continued learning from experienced professionals. She believes that in order to grow in one’s profession, one must continue to learn.

Melissa is skilled in Swedish Massage, On-site Chair Massage, Hot Stone Massage , Myofascial Release Therapy, Interferential Vibration Therapy, and Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, Rock Tape Specialist. In addition she has several hours of Client Centered Care at the Institute of Holistic Leadership, Learning about Functional Nutrition, and learning hypnotherapy by Marissa Peer

I'd like to summarize my experiences with Melissa over the past ~3 years. In 2020 I injured my back/hip/quadriceps on my left leg pretty severely. I went to a chiropractor 3x/wk for the summer, then backed off to 1x/mo visits. Fast forward to 2022, I visited Melissa for the first time in a very long time. We discussed what I had going on and during my 1-hour session Melissa was able to leverage a percussion tool on my upper quads (which had by then been problematic for over 2 years) and the relief was immediate and permanent! I've been in and out of massage therapy care for the past 25 years with multiple therapists and Melissa certainly stands out among her peers. Her depth of knowledge combined with her ability to extract guiding information (from those of us with varying degrees of understanding of our own bodies) is a gift she has honed over many years of educational and occupational experience. Melissa knows how to work out all the kinks!! She definitely has healing hands 😊 Many years ago, when I visited her for the first time, I had severe pain in my foot. She worked it out and I haven’t had pain there since!! I highly recommend her services.
