I came to the world of massage through the ever stressful world of elementary education.  I taught for over 20 years, and decided a few years ago that I had to make some changes in my life and ease some of the stress of teaching.  I have found that some of the skills that served me well in the classroom help me as a massage therapist.  I'm patient and an intuitive listener.  


I graduated from The North Texas School of Swedish Massage in Arlington, Texas.   I tell people that my speciality is the nice, relaxing, stress relieving Swedish Massage.  However, a massage from me will include aspects of a deeper tissue massage if that is what the client needs and wants.  It won't be the type of really painful deep tissue massage you might be used to.  Instead, I give my clients a more painless variety which gives them the same results.   Think of it like ironing out the muscles instead of pounding them.  This type of massage can be great for cases of sciatic nerve pain, carpal tunnel, etc.
