I have been working at Baystate Medical Center as an Registered Nurse for 12 years. I worked on a Neurology unit for the first 5 years of my nursing career and then have spent the last 7 years on the flex team. I was first introduced to reiki by a fellow nurse who would perform it on her patients to assist them with either emotional, spiritual, psychological and even physical healing. I was always intrigued by reiki and the importance of helping the person as a whole and not just the ailment that they came in with. I believed in therapeutic touch and would spend countless hours with my patients and their family members listening and assisting them in their time of need. I decided in 2016 to take a Reiki class and loved it. I received my certification in both Reiki I and II. I have performed Reiki on patients with chronic pain, cancer, strokes and many other ailments to help bring some type of healing. My practice is always for the greater good of my patient and client. I had then decided to try John's program of the candida diet and have gotten healthy as I went through my journey, I did lots of self healing and decided to expand my practice to assist others in healing outside of the hospital setting. I am constantly improving my knowledge and have a certification in Basic Intergrated Energy therapy and will be taking the intermediate class in the fall. Certification in Spiritual Intuitive and am currently taking a course to become a Certified Functional Medicine health Coach.
