When I was a little girl, my mom use to pay me $3 to massage her feet and ankles. She had broken her ankle when she was a teenager, and still occasionally dealt with pain. When I would massage her feet, I never cared about the money. (I know kind of hard to believe, right?) But what I actually cared about most was seeing how much relief a few minutes of massage would bring her. That's what made me want to be a Massage Therapist!

I've been practicing massage for 13 years now. I challenge myself to actively keep learning and currently offer a variety of techniques tailored to meet each individual's needs. From sports injuries, pain, poor posture, overuse, and tired bodies just needing some TLC , I can work with you to get you feeling like you should again.
Desk jockeys, weekend warriors, stretched to near breaking Moms, let me show you what reclaiming your body and your sanity feels like. My passion is to help people feel better so they can be the best version of themselves!

2006: While working at The Spa at Kingsmill in Williamsburg, VA I had the opportunity to take a certification course in Lomi Lomi massage. It was a 4 day intensive, and it was a life changing experience. Lomi is an amazing modality that not only increases blood and lymph flow, but it promotes deep relaxation through special strokes and techniques. It is also a kind of bodywork that is all about being "present" and living in each moment. This is a great massage for those who have anxiety, depression, decreased circulation, and who just needs to relax!
Neuromuscular massage is my go to when I get clients who are suffering from chronic pain, tension head aches, and reduced mobility in the tissues. I learned this modailty in 2014 when I needed something more than deep tissue to address my client's pain. A lot of time deep pressure simply isn't enough to take care of certain problems in the tissues, and that's where Neromuscular therapy comes in! I have had amazing results with clients when using nueromuscular techniques. Most come in hurting and leave feeling no pain!
I first learned Ashiatsu back in 2006 and it is one of my favorite modalities. It's an amazing massage for those who love deep pressure, but aren't fans of elbows and knuckles! I have recently taken the Ashiatsu Level 3 course which teaches advanced anterior and side-lying techniques. Level 3 Ashi steps it up several notches, and the new techniques are perfect for those looking for more targeted work.
I have been doing Ashi-Thai since 2016, and it is one of my absolute favorite massages to give AND receive! One of the neat things about Ashi-Thai is that you do not need to get undressed to receive the treatment, and feel amazing. If you love deep compression massages, and good passive stretching, then this is the kind of massage for you!
