As an advocate for health and wellness, I promoted methods of positive behavioral change to colleagues within the Legal and Market Regulation Division in hopes that it would improve the work environment culture. The minimum participation requirement for this position was exceeded as I created and implemented additional health initiatives on my own, that were customized specifically for employees of the Legal and Market Regulation Division. During routine collaboration with the Health and Wellness Director at CME Group Inc., I utilized my knowledge gained from massage therapy experience and studies at DePaul University. Through this partnership I had the unique opportunity to work on a corporate-wide wellness campaign to effectively improve the well-being of thousands of individuals. Because of my additional education, I frequently shared my understanding of human anatomy, nutrition, kinesiology, massage therapy, stress relief, etc. with colleagues by responding to ad hoc questions and introducing low impact approaches to a healthier lifestyle.
