I am a Durham, NC native, but have lived in and raised my 2 boys in Hanover, Pennsylvania for the last 27 years and have recently returned "home" to NC. I have been a successful Licensed Massage Therapist for over 12 years with all my hands-on experience within a medical setting. I am honored to be in the field of massage therapy and am very passionate about my abilities. I take pride in caring for my patients and clients. I provide individualized, patient centered massage therapy that is complementary to medical and holistic health care. I meet their needs by seeing them feel better through relaxation, pain relief, increased mobility, and an overall sense of wellbeing through healthy and safe touch. My skills encompass many common modalities such as Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Reflexology and Aromatherapy with Young Living Essential Oils. In addition, I also specialize in Neuromuscular Cupping Therapy, Migraine Relief Therapy, Ashiatsu, Orthopedic Massage Therapy, Prenatal, Postpartum, and Infant massage. I am currently working on training in energy work with Reiki, Crystals and Stones. My most recent accomplishment was taking lead in piloting and implementing a program for “Bedside Massage” in the maternity department for Postpartum and Antepartum moms as well as personal instruction for post discharge self-care and infant massage at home. In my 12+ years of massage experience, I have built and maintain a mutual trust and respect with my colleagues and peers, as well as high regards with many departments within the hospital system and have a proven track record of many loyal patients.
