I am a 1998 graduate of Body Therapy Institute located in Siler City, North Carolina.  I have been a licensed massage and bodywork therapist in North Carolina since 2000. During my years in the industry I have worked in both a physical therapy (rehab) and Spa (relaxation) environments. I have seen the relief clients receive after their massage session  from the day to day chronic pains and ailments, also I am honored to help those who seek massage therapy for stress relief and relaxation. My technique for directing pressure for a deep tissue massage is to apply the pressure slowly with the client's exhaling breath. This helps prevent the reflexive action of the muscle (guarding against the pressure) allowing to go deeper for a more comfortable and effective result. Deep tissue doesn't have to hurt!  It is my overall goal as a professional massage therapist to make you feel better after a session.
